Business ethics guide company and employee behavior in a manner of what’s right and wrong or acceptable and unacceptable. Key stakeholders and top executives are responsible for developing the morally and socially responsible business policies and principles that serve as a standard for employee behavior, or conduct. Often these ethical policies and principles reflect the organization’s values and goals as well as social and cultural norms and government regulations and are contained in a document called Code of Conduct, or Code of Ethics.
